The Restoration

When we reopened Bella Vista, our goal was not simply to repaint rooms and replace furniture. We wanted to preserve as much of the original home as possible while creating a comfortable one of it’ts kind modern guest experience.

  • original hardwood floors

  • original trim

  • original doors

  • original hardware

Whenever possible, we chose traditional restoration methods over modern synthetic finishes.

  • hardwood floors finished without polyurethane

  • natural oil finish

  • low-odor environment

  • original materials preserved rather than replaced
